The Lagoons
Gibby
Gibby is a singer-songwriter from San
Diego who got his start in live music at just
5 years old. Being in a family of traveling
musicians, Gibby was one of three siblings
who spent his summers in a van, playing
shows on church camp stages and at
community events.

Throughout his teen years, Gibby played in
a handful of hometown bands before
joining Sun Room, an indie rock band
based out of Southern California. As the
drummer of Sun Room, Gibby joined the
band across 5 tours including a sold out
25+ date US headline tour and support
tours with Louis Tomlinson in North and
South America and Inhaler in the US and
Europe.

After two years in Sun Room, Gibby made
the decision to focus on his independent
artist career in the singer-songwriter
space. Since then, he has self-released 3
tracks and played a mix of headline and
support shows including SOMA in San
Diego, Troubadour in Los Angeles, and
Kilby Court in Salt Lake City.

In the upcoming months, Gibby is working
on his debut EP in between a handful of
headline shows and festival slots.
